The project involved reconfiguring the existing 53 cluster units into 59 self-contained studios, along with the addition of a new common room.
Axiom acted as both Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor, guiding the scheme from inception to completion, through volatile market conditions caused by Covid-19, Brexit, and the war in Ukraine.
Located in a listed building above live retail units in Edinburgh’s city centre, the site required thoughtful planning around logistics such as welfare provision, delivery access and material storage.
